Find two matching tiles and draw a connecting path between them - the path can only bend twice, so lines with more than two 90-degree turns won't count. Pick from two difficulty modes before you start, depending on how much of a challenge you want.

Scan the edges of the board first - tiles along the border are usually easier to connect with fewer turns, so clear those early and save the trickier middle tiles for when you've got a feel for the board.
