Mahjong Unlimited
Description
Four tiles of every kind, stacked in a shape you have to untangle by pairing them off - that's the whole hook of Mahjong Unlimited, and it never runs out of boards to give you. The levels are generated endlessly, so once you clear one, another is already waiting, sorted into 4 difficulty modes depending on how much of a headache you're after.
This one's for the player who wants a puzzle without a clock breathing down their neck. Skip the timer entirely if you'd rather sit with a tricky layout, or pick the harder settings if you like the pressure. You can also swap in a simpler tile look, which makes it just as easy to use as an educational game for spotting patterns.
The rules stay simple throughout: only tiles that are free on the left or right, and not covered from above, are fair game. Collect achievements as you go and see how your runs stack up against other players. If you'd rather link tiles across a board than pair them by position, Mahjong Connect is worth a look too, and Brain Training Games has more of this kind of slow-burn thinking practice.
How to Play
Clear every tile from the board by matching pairs. Each tile design appears exactly four times, and you can only select a tile if it's open on the left or right side and nothing sits on top of it.
Click two matching tiles to remove them. Keep going until the board is empty. Pick a difficulty mode that suits your mood, and skip the timer entirely if you'd rather work through the layout at your own pace.
Scan the edges of the stack first - tiles buried in the middle often can't be touched until you clear what's blocking them.
