SORTY BOLTY

Somewhere past the first few bolts, SORTY BOLTY stops being obvious. What looked like a quick color-matching warm-up suddenly has you staring at three half-full bolts, wondering which one to touch first without boxing yourself in.

That's the trick of it. You click a bolt to grab a nut, click another matching (or empty) bolt to drop it, and the game slowly stacks the pressure by giving you less room to breathe. Stuck? Cancel your last move or open an extra bolt for space - no shame in using the hints.

Getting a cluttered board down to clean, color-sorted bolts is oddly satisfying, the kind of small win that makes you go 'one more round.' It's landscape, it's free, and it runs right in your browser on desktop, 1 Player Games style, on Android or iOS.

Sort every colored nut onto its matching bolt until each bolt holds only one color. Click or tap a bolt to pick up its nut, then click or tap another bolt with the same color - or an empty one - to move the nut there.

If you paint yourself into a corner, use Cancel Move to undo your last step, or tap Extra Bolt to open up more space to work with.

Think two or three moves ahead before you commit - freeing the wrong bolt too early is usually what gets you stuck.
