Description

Attract a crate with one button, repel it with the other, and suddenly the cave floor stops being solid ground and starts being a puzzle. That's the loop in OrbaDrone - Robot Escape: you're an orb-shaped drone stuck in a post-apocalypse cave system, and your only tools are two forces that push and pull whatever the environment throws at you.

The 50 levels ramp up across 3 difficulty settings, so you can ease in or throw yourself straight at the hard stuff. Strange materials with unusual properties keep the physics honest - what worked two rooms ago might slam you into a wall this time. Between levels there are 4 mini-games to break up the pace, plus skins that change your drone's abilities if you like tinkering with your loadout.

It plays in the browser on desktop, Android or iOS, no download, and you can pick joystick-and-buttons or keyboard controls depending on how you're playing. If you're into 2D games built on real physics rather than scripted animations, this one rewards paying attention to how objects actually move.

Fans of tight, mechanic-driven escapes might also like Deadly Descent for a similar 'get out alive' pressure, or minigames in general if the mini-game breaks here are your favorite part.

How to Play

Guide your orb-drone through each level and escape the cave using your attract and repel abilities on the objects around you.

On desktop, use the arrow keys to move, A to attract and S to repel. On mobile, a joystick handles movement while two buttons control your abilities - control schemes can be swapped to whatever feels natural.

Start on the easier of the 3 difficulties if you're new to the physics, since misjudging a pull or push often means restarting the room. Watch how each strange material reacts before you commit to a direction.
