Zombie Check: Survival Shelter

One scanner, one survivor, and thirty seconds to decide if they walk into camp or get put down. That's the loop in Zombie Check: Survival Shelter, and it's the kind of decision that keeps nagging at you even after you've made it.

You inspect bodies, check for hidden or suspicious symptoms, and pick one of three fates: send to camp, quarantine, or liquidation. Symptoms aren't always obvious - some evolve while you're still deciding, which means the safe-looking survivor in front of you might not be safe at all. Get it wrong and you either kill someone innocent or let an infection walk straight into your shelter.

Each day ramps up the pressure with new arrivals and tougher calls, all while you unlock weapons and lean on the scanner to catch what your eyes miss. It's a tense fit if you're into Decision Games or Survival Horror games - every choice has weight, and the outbreak setting doesn't let up.

If you're already deep into Apocalypse Games, this one trades combat for judgment calls, though there's still a fight waiting if a decision goes wrong. Reach the bunker, or don't - either way you'll want another run.

Inspect each survivor, scan for symptoms, and choose their fate: send them to camp, quarantine, or liquidation. Wrong calls can cost an innocent life or infect the whole shelter, so look closely before you commit.

On PC, use the cursor to rotate the camera and A/D or the arrow keys to turn your character. Right-click to use your fists, press E to equip a tool and Q to put it away, and hit 1, 2, or 3 to send a survivor to camp, quarantine, or liquidation. Z and X teleport you to the quarantine zone and inspection zone. Tab switches your cursor.

Symptoms can be hidden or take time to appear, so don't rush the scan - a second look now beats an infected camp later.
