Escape From Squid Island

The moment the enemies start closing in from every side of Escape From Squid Island, that's when this game actually gets good. You're not just surviving, you're fleeing a whole island stacked against you, and every firefight between spawn points feels like it could go sideways fast.

Aiming down sights with the right mouse button while circling for cover, then landing the shot that clears your path forward, is the payoff the whole game is built around. Recharge with R when you're empty, keep moving with WASD, and don't stand still long enough to become an easy target.

Move with WASD, rotate the mouse to control your camera, click the left mouse button to shoot, and hold the right mouse button to aim down sights for more accurate hits. Press R to recharge when you run dry.

Aim before you commit to a fight - a landed shot while aiming beats spraying blind, and recharging mid-battle in the open usually ends badly. Use the varied environments for cover between exchanges.
