Hold the left mouse button, point in the direction you want to go, then release to launch your dash. That's the whole control scheme: one motion, no complicated key combos. The skill is in choosing where to aim.

In each arena you defeat every opponent and reach the end of the level. You do it with rapid sword attacks as you dash, so the order you hit enemies in matters as much as how fast you move.
