Grand Shift Auto

Stealing a sports car and immediately getting into a shootout with it is basically the whole point of Grand Shift Auto. You land in a city that belongs to gangsters, and it's yours to wreck.

There are three missions waiting for you, but nobody's stopping you from ignoring them to just cause chaos first. Grab guns, rifles, a shotgun, machine guns, whatever's in the weapon shop, and start shooting your way through the streets. Jump into any sports car you fancy, floor it, switch camera angles while you drift, and see how far you get before things go loud.

Complete the missions and you're working toward getting rich, which is a nice change from just causing chaos for its own sake. Either way, this is Action games territory through and through - third-person shooting, vehicle chases, and a city that doesn't care which one you pick first.

Complete the three missions scattered around the city while staying alive and, ideally, getting rich along the way.

Move with WASD, jump with Space, and hold Shift to run. Shoot with left mouse click and cycle weapons with middle mouse. Press F to hop into any vehicle, C to change the camera while driving, and E for light. Tab opens the weapon shop, P brings up the menu, L locks your cursor, and R restarts.

Stock up on guns before you start a mission - running out of ammo mid-shootout is how good runs end early.
