Space Obby

Five minutes in and you've already jetpacked across a gap that should've killed you, snagged a battery cell, and spotted a door that wasn't open a second ago. That's Space Obby in a nutshell: a lighthearted platformer where a busted jetpack is your only friend against a destroyed space station.

You're not the only astronaut poking around the wreckage. Six unlockable characters are up for grabs, and the way you unlock them is by hunting down collectable battery cells hidden across four massive levels. Every cell you grab either powers a new door or gets you closer to a new look.

It plays in the browser on desktop, Android or iOS, no download needed, so you can jump in the second the itch hits. If you've bounced off Stickman Hook for something with more exploring and less swinging, or you just like obstacles games with a sci-fi coat of paint, the floating debris fields here are worth a look.

It's built for solo runs, but the whole point is reaching the end of each level in one piece - jetpack fuel and good timing included.

Explore the wrecked space station, collect power cells, and use them to open doors to new levels and unlock new characters. Reach the end of each of the four levels to see how far your jetpack can take you.

Move with WASD or the arrow keys, jump with spacebar, and hold spacebar midair to fire the jetpack. Rotate the camera by moving the mouse, zoom with the scroll wheel, and hit P for the settings menu.

Save your jetpack fuel for the gaps you can't clear on a normal jump - holding spacebar too early over solid ground just burns fuel you'll want later.
