Obby: King of the Hill
Description
Five minutes in Obby: King of the Hill and you're already sprinting up a slope, dodging a club swing, and shoving some rival off a ledge before they do it to you. That's the whole loop: race to the top, hold the top, get knocked off, go again.
The obby part is straightforward - run, jump, clear obstacles that try to slow you down. But the King of the Hill twist is what makes it chaotic, because every other player on that mountain wants the same crown you do, and a well-timed club attack or a lucky bump can send someone tumbling off right when they thought they'd made it.
Bright 3D graphics, simple controls, and matches that turn into a scramble of funny falls and last-second saves. It's an easy pickup if you like Jumping Games or anything from Action games, and it plays fine solo too if you just want to practice your climb, which makes it a solid fit for 1 Player Games.
It's competitive without being mean about it - more shoving and slipping than anything serious - so if you're after Competitive Games that don't take themselves too seriously, this is one to keep loaded in a tab.
How to Play
Reach the top of the hill and stay there - every other player is trying to knock you off, and you're trying to do the same to them.
On PC, use W/A/S/D to move, Space to jump, left mouse button to swing your club, and right mouse button plus mouse movement to control the camera. On mobile, a joystick handles movement with on-screen buttons for jumping and attacking.
Time your club swings for when a rival is near the edge - a well-placed hit can send them straight off the mountain and buy you room to climb further.
