Shape Ascent - Roguelite

The board fills up fast in Shape Ascent, and that's the exact moment the game gets good. Somewhere around Pentagons and Hexagons, every swipe starts to matter - one wrong move and you're boxed in, one right move and a Crystal snaps into an Essence. Clearing space when the 5x5 grid looks hopeless is the whole thrill here.

You start small: Triangles and Squares sliding into each other with a swipe. Merge matching shapes and they climb the tier ladder - Pentagons, Hexagons, Stars, Crystals, Essences - all the way up toward the legendary Ascent Crown at 8128. It's the same bones as 2048, but stretched into something with more room to plan.

The twist is the card system. Every few moves you're offered Power Cards - Common, Rare, Epic - with effects like Score Boosts, Merge Bonuses, and Emergency Saves that can bail you out when the grid gets tight. Building a run around the right cards is its own puzzle on top of the shape-merging one.

Merge matching shapes on the 5x5 grid to climb the tiers and reach the Ascent Crown. Swipe in any of the four directions to slide every shape on the board at once; two identical shapes that collide merge into the next tier up, from Triangles and Squares all the way to Crystals and Essences.

Every few moves you'll get a choice of Power Cards - Common, Rare, or Epic - offering things like Score Boosts, Merge Bonuses, or an Emergency Save. Pick the card that fits your board state, not just the flashiest rarity.

Watch your open space closely: a full grid with no legal merges ends your run, so plan swipes that keep at least one escape route open.
