Description

One peg jumps over another, that peg disappears, and suddenly the board looks a little emptier. That's the whole trick in Peg Solitaire: keep jumping until just one peg is left standing, and every move you make either opens up a new path or boxes you in.

It looks simple. It is not. Peg Solitaire rewards the kind of planning-ahead brain that also shows up in Puzzle games where one wrong move ripples across the whole board. Several difficulty levels mean you can start easy and work up to the boards that make you stare for a full minute before touching anything.

No download, no login, just open it in your browser on desktop or mobile and start clearing pegs. If you like puzzles you can chip away at solo, this sits nicely alongside Mahjong Connect for quiet, one-player thinking time. Tag it as one for the 1 Player Games shelf and settle in.

How to Play

Clear the board by jumping pegs over each other until only one peg remains - that's the objective, and it's the only rule you need to remember.

Controls are simple: select a peg and jump it over a neighbouring peg into an empty space, removing the peg you jumped. Keep going until no more jumps are possible or you've whittled the board down to a single survivor.

Tip: don't just take the first jump available. Look two or three moves ahead, because clearing pegs too fast near the edges often leaves you with no legal jumps left in the middle.
