Defender: Tanks Merge
Description
The waves in Defender: Tanks Merge don't ease up - they stack, and pretty soon you're staring at a screen full of enemies while your trash can fills with the mismatched tanks you dragged over to clear space. That's the moment the game actually starts: figuring out which units to fuse and which to bin before the next wave hits.
Merging is the whole engine here. Drag two tanks together and they become something stronger, and that chain of small upgrades is what keeps you ahead of the enemy count instead of behind it. Bombs and mines back you up when merging alone won't cut it, though mines need planning since they can't be placed near tanks.
Getting your army built right before the enemies overwhelm your base is the satisfying part - the auto-merge helps, but the real wins come from knowing when to trash a weak tank instead of holding onto it. Play free in the browser on desktop or Android, no download needed.
If merge mechanics against waves of enemies are your thing, Plant Merge: Zombie War and Epic Empire: Tower Defense scratch a similar itch, and both live in Strategy games alongside this one.
How to Play
Build an army strong enough to survive escalating waves of enemies by merging tanks into more powerful units.
Drag two tanks together to merge them into something stronger. Drag any tank you don't want onto the trash can to clear space. Tap an ability button, then select the target area to use bombs or mines - tap the button again or tap the base area to cancel.
Plan your mine placement ahead of time, since mines can't be dropped near existing tanks. Prioritize merging over hoarding weak units; a smaller army of strong tanks holds better than a crowded base of leftovers.
