PaperWar.io
Description
Nine skins to pick from, one map to swallow whole - PaperWar.io wants you greedy for territory, not blood. That's the funny thing about it: it's dressed up as a war game, but there's no gore here, just ink spreading across the grid until it's all yours.
The actual play is simple to grasp and hard to put down. You expand your claimed area tile by tile, racing to cover 100% of each new map before anyone else muscles in. Other players are doing the exact same thing, which means your territory is always one bad move from becoming theirs.
That's where the super speed booster earns its keep - punch it when a rival gets too close to your border and you'll outrun the squeeze. Watch their patterns, strike when they're overextended, and eliminate them before they eliminate you.
It runs straight in your browser on desktop, no install, no cost. If you've played Hole.io or the ant-versus-ant scramble of Ants Io, the expand-and-eliminate loop here will feel instantly familiar.
How to Play
Conquer 100% of the map by expanding your territory before rivals expand theirs. Claim unexplored areas, push your borders outward, and watch for opponents encroaching on space you've already won.
Rivals are actively trying to take you down, so track their movements and eliminate anyone threatening your progress. Use the super speed booster whenever you need a burst to outrun a chaser or seal off territory fast.
Pick one of the 9 skins before you start, purely for style. Tip: don't overextend into open ground while a rival is circling your existing borders - losing ground you already hold hurts more than skipping a new patch.
