Five minutes into SnakeWar.io and your snake has gone from a speck to a threat. That's the whole loop: eat fruit, get longer, then use that length to box rivals in until they crash into you and drop everything they collected.

The map is a scramble for fruit at first, but the real game starts once other snakes notice you're growing. Cut across their path, force a bad turn, and watch their whole body turn into a fruit pile for you to hoover up. It's greedy, it's a little mean, and it works.

Controls are just your mouse, so there's nothing to learn before you're already playing. If you like the eat-and-grow rhythm of Snake games, or you've bounced around other .io Games like Hole.io, SnakeWar.io scratches the same itch with a leaderboard to actually climb.

Grow the longest snake on the map and stay off the leaderboard's bottom half. Eat fruit scattered across the arena to get bigger, and force rival snakes to crash into your body to eliminate them.

On PC, move your mouse to steer your snake - that's the whole control scheme.

When an enemy dies, they drop a big pile of fruit. Rush over and grab it fast before another snake beats you to it - those drops are the quickest way to jump up in size.
