Dronner 3D
Description
The switch from wheels to rotors is where Dronner 3D actually bites. One second you're racing flat-out on the track, the next you've flipped into quadcopter mode and a single clipped collision suddenly means a lot more than a fender-bender.
That's the tension the whole game runs on. You're collecting points and battery charges as you go, but every charge you grab has to last, and every hit chips away at your damage status. Fly reckless in the air and you'll burn through your battery before the next checkpoint even shows up.
Pulling off a clean run - keeping the meter green, dodging the wrecks, timing your quadcopter switches so they don't cost you - is the payoff. It's a tight loop for anyone who already likes Fast Paced Games or the pickup-everything rhythm of Collecting Games, and it plays free in the browser with no download.
If you're after more track-based chaos afterward, Moto X3M scratches a similar itch from two wheels instead of four.
How to Play
Race down the track, collect points and battery charges, and switch your car into quadcopter mode to clear obstacles a normal car can't handle. Keep an eye on two meters as you go: your damage status and your battery charge level, both of which drop when things go wrong.
Use your on-screen or keyboard controls to steer, transform, and fly. Collisions are far more punishing in quadcopter mode, so treat the air time as precision flying, not a shortcut.
Tip: grab battery charges before you actually need them. Running dry mid-flight with obstacles ahead is the fastest way to end a run early.
