On desktop, hold the left mouse button and drag to rotate around the building so you can inspect it from every angle before placing your explosives. Line up your view first, then set your charges in the spots that will bring the most down at once.

Tip: don't just plant everything in one corner - target the structure's support points so the collapse chains through the whole building instead of leaving half of it standing.
