Privacy Policy
Nuestra política de privacidad y cómo protegemos sus datos.
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This policy explains what MultiPixel.io collects when you visit, what it does not collect, and who else is involved when you play a game. It is written to describe how the site actually works rather than to cover every possibility.
Who runs this site
MultiPixel is an independent site, run by one person as a sole proprietorship from Pennsylvania, United States. Throughout this policy, "we" and "us" mean MultiPixel. We are the data controller for the information described here.
The best way to reach us about anything in this policy, including a privacy request, is [email protected]. Messages are read and answered by the person who runs the site.
The short version
There are no player accounts. You cannot register, log in, or create a profile, so we never ask for your name, email address, date of birth or password.
We do not sell your data.
We do not run ads on our own pages. The site is funded by a share of the advertising revenue from the games themselves.
We use four analytics services to understand how the site is used. One of them records replays of page interactions.
Games are not hosted by us. When you play one, your browser connects directly to the company that made it, and their rules apply inside the game window.
Information we collect
Things you type
Almost nothing. The site has no registration, no comment section, no forum, no chat and no contact form. Search terms you type into the site's search box are used to find games and are not stored against you.
If you email us at [email protected], we receive whatever you put in that email, and we keep the correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with it.
Things your browser sends automatically
Like every website, our servers record standard technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, your browser and operating system version, and the page that referred you. These logs are kept for a short period for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
Game ratings
When you rate a game with a thumbs up or thumbs down, we store the rating, and we store a one-way salted hash of your IP address so that the same connection cannot vote on the same game repeatedly. A hash is a scrambled fingerprint. We cannot practically recover your IP address from it, and we do not use it for anything other than stopping duplicate votes — but we treat it as personal information all the same. A small cookie is also set in your browser for the same purpose, so the button shows the right state when you return.
Play counts
We count how many times each game has been played. This is a single number per game and is not connected to any individual visitor.
Language preference
Your chosen language is stored in your browser under mp_locale so the site opens in the same language next time. It never leaves your device.
Why we are allowed to use this information
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the law requires us to tell you our legal basis for each use:
Server logs, security and abuse prevention — our legitimate interest in keeping the site online, working and free from attack.
Rating records and duplicate-vote prevention — our legitimate interest in keeping ratings honest.
Language preference — necessary to provide the service you asked for.
Analytics and session replay — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Answering your email — our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Analytics and measurement
We use the following services to understand how the site is performing and where it is confusing people. Each is operated by a separate company under its own privacy policy.
Microsoft Clarity — measures how pages are used and produces heatmaps and session replays, which are reconstructions of mouse movement, clicks and scrolling on the pages you visit. Clarity sets cookies including
_clck.StatCounter — visitor and page-view statistics. Sets
sc_is_visitor_uniqueand stores counters in your browser.Google Analytics 4 — audience and traffic reporting, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz. It runs server-side, so Google's own tracking script is never loaded into your browser.
Cloudflare Web Analytics — page performance measurement. It does not use cookies to identify visitors.
Microsoft Clarity automatically operates in consent mode for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, which means it sets no cookies for those visitors unless consent is given.
For the other services, we ask for your consent before they run, and you can change your mind at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. Outside those regions these services run by default. The site works normally either way.
Opting out
Microsoft Clarity — opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance tool at optout.aboutads.info and select Microsoft. To keep that choice after you clear cookies, install the Protect My Choices browser extension. Clarity also honours Global Privacy Control, which some browsers can send automatically. Clarity does not respond to Do Not Track.
StatCounter — set a refusal cookie at statcounter.com/about/set-refusal-cookie. It applies to every site that uses StatCounter, and you need to set it once in each browser you use.
Google Analytics — Google's opt-out browser add-on will not help here. It works by blocking Google's own analytics scripts, and we never load them: our GA4 runs server-side through Cloudflare Zaraz. To stop it, block the
/cdn-cgi/zaraz/path using a content blocker.Cloudflare Web Analytics — there is nothing to opt out of. It sets no cookies and identifies nobody.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses a small number of cookies and stored values:
Necessary — set by our own software to keep the site working, remember your language, and remember which games you have already rated.
Analytics — set by Clarity and StatCounter, as listed above.
Security — set by Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site to protect it from attacks and bot traffic.
Offline caching — if you install MultiPixel as an app, a service worker stores site files on your device so it can load quickly and work with a poor connection. This is site code, not personal information.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them may reset your language choice and your rating history.
The games themselves
MultiPixel does not host the games it lists. Each one is loaded into a frame on our page directly from the company that publishes it, including Playgama, GameDistribution, GamePix, GameMonetize and Famobi.
This matters for your privacy. Once a game loads, your browser is talking to that company's servers, not only to ours. Inside that game window, the publisher may set its own cookies, measure gameplay, and show its own advertising, including video advertising. We do not control what they collect and we do not receive it. Their privacy policies apply to everything that happens inside the game frame.
Advertising and how the site is funded
MultiPixel is free to use and there is nothing to buy. The site is funded by a share of the advertising revenue generated inside the games.
We do not currently place advertising on our own pages. The only promotional content we place ourselves is a link to install MultiPixel as an app. If we start running advertising on our own pages, we will update this section and note it on the changelog before it goes live.
Advertising inside a game window is served by that game's publisher, not by us. We receive a share of the revenue it generates. We do not choose which ads are shown, we do not control them, and we do not receive the data those ad networks collect. The networks may set cookies, read device identifiers and use similar technologies inside the game frame. The publisher's own privacy policy governs everything that happens there.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under California law. Information reaches other companies only in these ways:
Our hosting provider and Cloudflare, which necessarily process traffic in order to deliver the site.
The analytics providers named above.
Game publishers and their advertising partners, when your browser loads their game.
Where we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid legal request.
Children
MultiPixel is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We have deliberately built it so that a child cannot hand over personal information: there is no sign-up, no profile, no messaging and no way to upload anything.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Games are supplied by third-party publishers and may carry advertising that we do not control. If a specific game concerns you, tell us and we will look at removing it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, object to how it is used, restrict how it is used, or receive a copy of it. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR, and California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
In practice we hold very little that could identify you. Because there are no accounts, we usually have no way to connect a request to a particular person's browsing. The most effective ways to exercise control are:
Clear your cookies and site data in your browser, which removes your rating history and language preference.
Use a content blocker or your browser's tracking protection to stop the analytics services collecting anything.
Opt out of the analytics services directly, using the links in the "Opting out" section above.
To make a request of us, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month for GDPR requests and within 45 days for CCPA requests.
If you are in the EEA or the UK and you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. You do not have to contact us first, though we would rather have the chance to put it right.
Data retention
Server logs — kept no longer than 30 days, for security and troubleshooting.
Rating records — kept for as long as the game is listed on the site.
Play counts — kept indefinitely. They are aggregate numbers and identify nobody.
Analytics data — kept according to each provider's retention settings, which we keep at the shortest practical option.
Email correspondence — kept for as long as it is useful for support, and no more than 12 months after the matter is closed.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and sits behind Cloudflare, which filters malicious traffic. Because we do not collect passwords, payment details or personal profiles, there is very little about you for an attacker to take. No website can promise perfect security, and we do not.
International visitors
The site is available worldwide and our providers operate globally, so information may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where information about EEA or UK visitors is transferred to the United States, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK Addendum, which our providers incorporate into their terms.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Substantial changes will be noted on the site's changelog.
