"Hero" is doing a lot of work as a genre label, and this tag proves it - the only thing these games agree on is that you're the one who has to sort the problem out.
Rescue Hero is the puzzle end of it, where saving someone means working out the order to pull things in. Hero Merge turns heroism into a merging problem, combining units until one of them can actually win a fight. Brawl Hero skips straight to the fighting, and Swimming Hero and Cycling Hero take the word somewhere entirely sporting instead.
