The line under each game's title now shows just the player rating.

Better game recommendations, including sequels and series

The games suggested under each game and in the More Games sidebar are now picked by how much they actually have in common with what you are playing, weighted so that unusual shared tags count for more than generic ones. If a game is part of a series, the other games in that series lead the list.

Better keyboard navigation and easier-to-read titles on phones

Tabbing through games now highlights the tile you are on, everywhere on the site. On phones, game names are kept to a single line so they stay readable over the artwork instead of covering half the thumbnail.

Bigger game thumbnails, and a redesigned game page sidebar

Game tiles are larger across the whole site and no longer shrink when you widen your browser window. Every tile now shows its name. The game page sidebar is a single column of much bigger thumbnails that play a gameplay preview when you point at them.

Every game category has a new pixel icon

All thirty category icons have been redrawn as custom pixel art, made for this site instead of pulled from a stock icon set. The sidebar was redone to match: Newest, Most Liked and Most Viewed, plus Blog, Changelog and the rest of the menu. Each icon was drawn to stay readable at the small size the sidebar uses, so they hold their shape on mobile and in the collapsed menu rather than turning to mush. A few categories now show something different where the old icon was too busy to read small: Driving is a steering wheel rather than a jeep, Adventure a compass rather than a treasure map, and Cards a single card rather than a fan of five.

Including Goo Slime Jump, Geometry Dash Maze Maps, Geometry Dash Maze Maps V2, Geometry Rush 4D and Geometry Platformer.

Fixed the More Games list stretching on narrower windows

Below about 1024px the More Games panel moves under the main content, and its thumbnails were being squashed into wide letterbox strips. They now keep their proper shape and fill the space as a normal grid.

Hit a dead link and you'll get a Game Over screen

The page you land on when something's missing has been redrawn in pixel art: a cracked controller with electricity arcing through the split, and a glitching GAME OVER. There's also a Random game button now, so a broken link drops you into something to play instead of a dead end.

A new look for MultiPixel

Game cards, category tiles, buttons and the featured banner now have stepped, pixel-style corners instead of rounded ones. Buttons press down when you click them, hover previews fade in step by step rather than smoothly, and the sidebar now highlights whichever section you are browsing. Pages also load lighter.

Sharper site logo, especially on high-resolution screens

Game preview videos no longer show a stray pop-out button in Firefox

New fonts across the site

Headings now use a rounded typeface and body text a font built for screens. Everything reads a little sharper, and small labels that used to sit high in their badges now line up properly.

Fixed: a loading bar animated whenever you hovered a game thumbnail

Hovering a link quietly preloads the next page so it opens instantly. That preload was also triggering the progress bar at the top of the screen. Preloading still happens; the bar no longer reacts to it.

Fixed: the site showed a blank screen when reopening a tab on Android

Closing Chrome on Android and reopening it could leave the page empty until a manual refresh. The cause was a defect in the page-navigation library when restoring a tab with no saved history state.

Game artwork now loads in a modern format, sized for your screen

Images are served through Cloudflare in AVIF or WebP at the exact size they render, instead of one large file scaled down in the browser. Game cards dropped from around 140 KB to single digits.
