Pick a cube, find its matching column, click. That's the whole loop in PopSortica, and somehow it's enough to keep you clicking one more column, one more level, one more time. Mermaid Poppy's underwater sorting voyage doesn't rush you, but it doesn't let you off easy either.

Each level starts simple: columns full of mixed-up cubes waiting to be sorted into matching sets. Then the game starts throwing in special obstacles and conditions that mess with your plan, and you'll lean on boosters to clean things up faster. The difficulty creeps up gradually, so you barely notice you've gone from casual sorting to genuinely puzzling it out.

It plays in the browser on desktop, free, no download, so there's zero friction between wanting to play and actually playing. Empty every column by sorting all the cubes into matching groups. Select a cube from a column to pick it up, then click another column to place it - but the drop only works if the colors match.

Work through the columns one cube at a time, planning a couple of moves ahead so you don't box yourself into a color you can't move. Special obstacles and conditions show up as levels progress, and boosters can bail you out when a column gets stuck.

Tip: clear the columns closest to matching first. It frees up space to shuffle trickier colors around later.
