Place the required number of animals onto the color-coded grid so every rule holds at once. Each row can only hold one animal, each column can only hold one animal, and each distinct colored region can only hold one animal too.

Click a cell to place or remove an animal as you test out possible solutions. Work region by region - lock in the colored area that only has one open cell left, since that's usually your safest first move.

Double-check row and column counts before you commit to a placement, since one misplaced animal anywhere on the grid throws off the whole level.
