GenFire
Description
Fire slimes that split in half when you shoot them is the kind of enemy design that makes GenFire memorable. You'd think shooting a slime would end it, but no - it multiplies, and suddenly you're surrounded by the mess you just made.
That's the core loop here: 360° top-down combat where enemies come from every angle, not just the front. You move, you aim, you shoot, and the waves just keep coming. Twenty handcrafted levels spread across multiple chapters means the difficulty ramps up steadily, throwing new elemental creatures and tougher bosses at you as you go.
Coins pile up as you survive, and each level demands a bit more strategy than the last - dodging patterns, prioritizing targets, figuring out which enemy to pop first so you don't get boxed in. No blood either, just clean skill-based shooting.
If you're already into browser .io games with real mechanics behind them, GenFire's splitting-enemy gimmick alone is worth the click.
How to Play
Survive endless waves of enemies across 20 levels, collecting coins and defeating elemental creatures as the difficulty climbs.
Move with WASD or the Arrow keys. Aim and shoot using your mouse - since combat comes at you from all 360 degrees, keep repositioning instead of standing still.
Watch out for fire slimes: shooting them makes them split, so clear them with a plan rather than just spraying and hoping. Save yourself for the bosses.
