Block Escape
Description
Every level of Block Escape starts easy and then quietly turns into a trap: one wrong move and a block you needed is now stuck behind three others, arrows pointing nowhere useful. That's the exact second the game gets interesting, because suddenly you're not just tapping blocks, you're reading the whole board.
Each block only moves in the direction its arrow shows, so the puzzle is really about sequence. Clear the wrong one first and you box yourself in; find the right order and the whole board unravels in a few satisfying taps. Getting unstuck after staring at a jammed layout for a minute is most of the fun.
It plays right in the browser on desktop, no download needed, and there's nothing grim on screen if you want a puzzle that stays calm. If you like this kind of one-mechanic-many-puzzles thinking, Mahjong Connect scratches a similar itch, and Sliding Puzzle games are worth a browse too.

How to Play
Clear every block off the screen to finish the level. Tap or click a block and it slides off in the direction its arrow points - nothing more complicated than that.
The catch is order. Some blocks block the path of others, so clearing them in the wrong sequence can lock the board up. Look at the whole layout before you tap anything, and plan two or three moves ahead rather than clearing whatever's closest.
