Every animal has a terrain it dominates and one it completely flops on, so the race becomes a constant read of what's coming next. Switch fast enough and you pull ahead. Hesitate and you're the slow one stuck on the wrong ground. Win races, earn coins, spend them in the market to unlock new animals, then go again. There's also a 2 player mode if you want to race someone sitting right next to you instead of the computer. Use your mouse or touch controls to change animals on the fly. In 2 player mode, one player uses A, S, D and the other uses J, K, L as shortcuts to switch.

The faster you make each swap, the bigger your advantage. Coins earned from races unlock new animals in the market, so racing well now pays off in more options later.
