Akagram
Description
Five minutes on the clock, one grid of empty cells, and a handful of bulbs to place. That's an Akagram round. You drop a bulb, watch its light run along the row and column until it hits a wall, and see what's still in the shadows.
Here's the catch: bulbs must never shine on each other. Numbers on walls tell you how many bulbs sit right beside them, so every clue narrows your next move. Akagram also adds row and column clues, which classic light-up puzzles don't have. It's one more layer of deduction to chew on.
There's plenty to play with. Work through a variety of levels, take on the daily challenges, or race the clock in Time Attack. It's a relaxing pick if you like Puzzle games, and a gentle workout if Brain Training Games are your thing. It runs free in your desktop browser, no download needed.
How to Play
Light up every empty cell. Bulbs shine horizontally and vertically until they reach a wall, and no two bulbs may shine on each other.
Place bulbs so each numbered wall has exactly that many bulbs directly beside it, horizontally or vertically. The row and column clues add another layer of deduction on top.
Tip: start with the numbered walls. They limit where bulbs can go, which gives you a solid foothold before you fill in the rest.
