Acox

Tap D or the right arrow and your character is off, heading for the goal with obstacles lined up in the way. That's Acox in its first ten seconds. No menus to puzzle over, no tutorial to sit through. Just you, a level, and the question of whether you can reach the end.

There are 30 levels, and each one has to be cleared before the next opens up. You can't skip ahead to the good bit. You earn it, one obstacle course at a time, and that slow climb is the hook.

It's one of those Simple Games that is easy to pick up and still gives you something to prove. It's 2D, it's one player, and it runs free in your browser with no download. If you like quick, no-fuss platforming, it fits right in with our Arcade games. Landscape view, clean controls, and a goal flag waiting at the end of every stage.

Move your character with WASD or the Arrow Keys. On mobile devices, use the on-screen touch controls instead.

Finishing a level unlocks the next one, so you progress one stage at a time. Tip: take a moment to look at what is standing between you and the goal before you start moving.
